10 classic alcoholic cocktails that don’t go out of fashion

1. Mojito

Ingredients:

  • ½ lime;
  • 10 fresh mint leaves;
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar;
  • 200 g crushed ice;
  • 50 ml of white rum;
  • 100 ml of soda.

Preparation

Cut the lime into four slices. Put mint leaves and two lime slices in a thick glass. Crush the mint and lime with a muddler or spoon so that they let the juice out. Add another slice of lime and sugar, and then suppress again.

Fill the glass with ice almost to the top. Pour rum on ice and add soda. Gently stir with a cocktail spoon and add more sugar if necessary. Decorate the finished cocktail with a slice of lime and mint leaves.

2. Daiquiri

Ingredients:

  • 60 ml of white rum;
  • 30 ml lime juice;
  • 1 teaspoon sugar syrup;
  • 200 g of crushed ice.

Preparation

Pour rum, lime juice and sugar syrup into a cocktail shaker. Add ice, cover and shake until excellent—strain into a chilled glass.

3. Manhattan

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml bourbon;
  • 25 ml red vermouth;
  • 1 ml of angostura;
  • 200 g ice cubes;
  • 1 cocktail cherry.

Preparation

Pour bourbon, vermouth and angostura into a cocktail shaker and shake. Put the ice cubes in a glass, then strain the mixture from the shaker into it. Decorate the cocktail with a cherry.

4. Bloody Mary

Ingredients:

  • 380 g ice cubes;
  • 120 ml tomato juice;
  • 50 ml of vodka;
  • 10 ml lemon juice;
  • 1 ml Tabasco sauce;
  • 1 ml Worcestershire sauce;
  • 1 g of salt;
  • 1 g black pepper;
  • 1 stalk of celery.

Preparation

Fill the glass with ice cubes in half. Mix tomato juice, vodka, lemon juice, tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper and the remaining ice in a shaker. Stir until cool, and then strain into a glass with ice cubes. Decorate the finished cocktail with a celery stalk.

5. Blue Lagoon

Ingredients:

  • 200 g ice cubes;
  • 50 ml of vodka;
  • 20 ml of blue curacao;
  • 150 ml Sprite;
  • 1 slice of pineapple.

Preparation

Fill a tall glass with ice cubes half full. Pour vodka and liqueur into it, then gently stir the Sprite glass to the top. Decorate the finished cocktail with a slice of pineapple.

6. Pina colada

Ingredients:

  • 30 ml of white rum;
  • 90 ml pineapple juice;
  • 30 ml coconut milk;
  • 50 g ice cubes;
  • 1 slice of pineapple or cocktail cherry.

Preparation

Mix rum, pineapple juice, coconut milk and ice in a blender. Pour into a glass and decorate the finished cocktail with a slice of pineapple or cherry.

7. Margaret

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml of tequila;
  • 25 ml triple sec;
  • 10 ml of sugar syrup;
  • 30 ml lime juice;
  • 200 g ice cubes;
  • 2 g of salt;
  • 1 slice of lime.

Preparation

Pour tequila, triple sec, sugar syrup and lime juice into a shaker, and then add ice cubes. Stir until cool. Make a strip of salt on the edge of the glass and pour the mixture from the shaker into it. Decorate the finished cocktail with a slice of lime.

8. Old fashion

Ingredients:

  • 5 g brown sugar cubes;
  • 1 ml of angostura;
  • 120 g ice cubes;
  • 50 ml bourbon;
  • 1 slice of orange.

Preparation

Put the diced sugar in a thick glass, add the angostura and crush everything with a muddler. Fill a glass with ice cubes, pour in the bourbon and mix gently with a cocktail spoon. Decorate the finished cocktail with a slice of orange.

9. Gin and tonic

Ingredients:

  • 180 g ice cubes;
  • 50 ml of gin;
  • 150 ml of tonic;
  • 1 slice of lime.

Preparation

Fill a tall, narrow glass with ice to the top. Pour the gin and tonic, then gently mix with a cocktail spoon. Decorate the finished cocktail with a slice of lime.

10. Gimlet

Ingredients:

  • 60 ml of gin;
  • 30 ml lime juice;
  • 200 g ice cubes;
  • 1 strip of lime zest.

Preparation

Pour gin and lime juice into a shaker, then add ice cubes. Stir until cool. Pour everything into a chilled glass. Decorate the finished cocktail with a strip of zest.
